Yes, I am seeing flamestitch patterns appearing in many upscale showrooms.  But they have updated, sophisticated color palettes.  It is a classic, so it is nice to see the new versions.  I have scanned in one from Schumacher in neutrals. 

I would use it on, perhaps, a contemporary version of a wingback chair.  I will find one for you and post a photo.  We are using contemporary wingbacks in a hotel lobby now.  I’ll show you that one.  Then I would place the chairs on a large scale area carpet.  —a contemporary area rug, in other words.  Let’s use a plush fabric like a velvet or something kinda woolly as a lumbar throw pillow in the chairs.
